Véro Mischitz
Véro Mischitz ist Diplombiologin und arbeitet seit über 16 Jahren als freischaffende Comiczeichnerin, Illustratorin und Autorin mit Schwerpunkt Wissenschaftskommunikation. Sie konzipiert und zeichnet visuelle Geschichten rund um wissenschaftliche Themen und hilft so Organisationen, Wissenschaftler:innen und Hochschulen dabei, ihre Inhalte verständlich und ansprechend aufzubereiten. Bekannt ist sie unter anderem für ihre stetig wachsende Naturführer-Reihe im KOSMOS-Verlag und diverse Comic-Projekte, die sie in Zusammenarbeit mit unterschiedlichen Institutionen (u.a. Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, BMBF, European XFEL, HAW) erstellt hat. Véro unterrichtet Comics und Storytelling als Dozentin an der Universität Luxemburg.

Véro Mischitz holds a degree in biology and has been working as a freelance artist with a focus on science communication for over 16 years. She conceives and draws visual stories around scientific topics and thus helps organizations, scientists and universities to present their content in an understandable and appealing way. Véro ist most known for her growing line of illustrated nature guides published by KOSMOS publishing house as well as for various comic-projects, brought to life in cooperation with clients such as the Helmholtz Association, BMBF, European XFEL and HAW. She is teaching the art of comics and storytelling at the University of Luxembourg regularly.
