Science Communication in Grant Proposals
The one-day seminar „Science Communication in Grant Proposals“ aims to enable scientists to adequately reflect the topic of science communication in their funding proposals and to implement the communication projects planned within the framework of their research proposals.
Participants will learn essential basic principles of science communication and develop their own concepts and strategies for the specific communication of their research projects.
The training is designed to be interactive. Teaching content alternates with practical exercises and question-and-answer sessions. This seminar focuses on the section on science communication in grant proposals. It is not a general course on grant writing.
Thematic focus areas of the seminar are:
- The strategic framework for science communication in applications
- The alignment of communication goals with target groups
- The selection of suitable communication formats
- Resource planning and budgeting
- The evaluation of communication activities
Organisational information:
The NaWik seminar lasts one day. Generally, the seminar takes place from 9:00 to 17:00 with a lunch break and two coffee breaks. The number of participants is limited to 9. The participants will receive a certificate of attendance for successful participation.
We are happy to travel to your institution and hold our seminar on your premises. Alternatively, our seminar room on the campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology can be booked.
